Acceptance

These Terms form a binding agreement between you and Catalyst.Music, the operator of Pawse.ai. They govern your use of the app, this website, and any communications with our team.

If you do not agree to these terms, do not use the app.

The service

Pawse.ai is an adaptive acoustic environment platform for dogs. It generates personalised sound sessions based on breed, age, and use context to support canine stress regulation in situations including sleep, time alone, loud noise exposure, travel, and vet visits.

Pawse.ai is designed for environmental enrichment and stress support only. It is not a medical device. It does not diagnose, treat, or cure any condition. It is not a substitute for veterinary advice. If your dog has a health concern, consult a qualified veterinarian.

Products in development

The Pawse.ai Tag and the optional home gateway are in development. They are not yet available for purchase, and any hardware, connectivity, battery, water-resistance, or data-handling characteristics shown on this website are design targets until the products are validated and released.

We may change, add, or remove features of the app over time as the product develops.

Accounts

You must create an account to access the app. You agree to provide accurate information at registration and to keep it current.

You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account. Keep your credentials secure. Do not share your account with others.

You must be at least 16 years old to create an account. By registering, you confirm that you meet this requirement.

Subscriptions and billing

Sleep and the core session flow are free to use. Premium is an optional paid upgrade, described below.

When Pawse.ai launches on the App Store, premium features are offered as an auto-renewing subscription. The price and billing period are always shown in the app before you confirm a purchase. Sleep and the core session flow stay free, as does the learning that adapts sound to your dog. A subscription unlocks the additional environments and the full behaviour analytics described in the app.

Subscriptions are sold and billed through your Apple App Store account. Payment is charged when you confirm the purchase. The subscription renews automatically for the same period unless you turn off auto-renewal at least 24 hours before the current period ends, and your account is charged for the renewal within that final 24 hours.

You manage and cancel a subscription in your Apple ID account settings on your device. Cancelling stops the next renewal, and the current period runs until it expires. Payment, renewals, and refunds are handled by Apple under the App Store terms, not by Catalyst.Music. We never see or store your card details.

Acceptable use

You agree not to use the app in any way that:

• Violates any applicable law or regulation
• Infringes the intellectual property rights of Catalyst.Music or any third party
• Attempts to reverse engineer, decompile, or extract the source code of the app or its acoustic generation engine
• Introduces malware, viruses, or other harmful code
• Interferes with or disrupts the integrity or performance of the service
• Uses automated tools to scrape, extract, or harvest data from the platform
• Distributes, resells, or commercially exploits access or features without our written authorisation
• Publicly shares screenshots, recordings, or detailed descriptions of unreleased features without our permission

Your content and feedback

You retain ownership of any content you submit to the service, including dog profile data, session feedback, Tag-derived event data, and bug reports.

By submitting content, you grant Catalyst.Music a limited, non-exclusive licence to use that content to operate the service, including to generate and refine acoustic sessions for your account.

Feedback you provide, including written reports, session ratings, bug descriptions, and support submissions, may be used to improve the product. By submitting feedback, you grant us a perpetual, royalty-free right to use it for product development purposes. We will not attribute feedback to you without your consent.

Anonymised and aggregated data derived from your sessions or Tag events may contribute to model improvement. No individual profile is intended to be identifiable in this process. The Tag is designed to provide structured sound events, not audio recordings. See our Privacy Policy for full details.

Intellectual property

All content, software, algorithms, audio generation logic, visual design, and branding within Pawse.ai are owned by or licensed to Catalyst.Music. Nothing in these terms transfers any intellectual property rights to you.

You are granted a limited, non-transferable, revocable licence to use the app for personal, non-commercial purposes only. This licence ends when your account ends or the licence is revoked.

Confidentiality

If we give you an early look at a feature that is not yet public, for example an upcoming feature or a preview build, that unreleased functionality is confidential. You agree not to publish or share details of it without our prior written consent.

This does not restrict you from talking about Pawse.ai, sharing your own experience, or posting ordinary screenshots of the released app.

Disclaimer

The service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Catalyst.Music makes no warranties regarding the app, including as to fitness for purpose, uninterrupted operation, or the accuracy of any output.

We do not warrant that any specific outcome will result from using the app, including any particular effect on your dog's behaviour or stress levels.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Catalyst.Music and its directors, employees, and affiliates will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the app.

To the extent our liability cannot be excluded by law, our total aggregate liability to you for any claim arising in connection with the app will not exceed the greater of the fees you paid us in the twelve months before the claim, or €50.

Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or any other liability that cannot be excluded by law.

Termination

You can stop using Pawse.ai at any time by contacting us at hello@pawse.ai or deleting your account from within the app.

We may suspend or end your access to the app at any time. We will give reasonable notice where we can. We may revoke individual access immediately if these terms are breached.

On termination, your licence to use the app ends. Sections of these terms that by their nature should survive termination will do so, including confidentiality, intellectual property, disclaimer, and limitation of liability.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Portugal. Any disputes arising from these terms will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Portugal, except where mandatory consumer protection laws in your country of residence provide otherwise.

If you are a consumer in the European Union, you retain the benefit of any mandatory consumer protection provisions in your country of residence.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. For material changes, we will notify you by email before the changes take effect. Continued participation after that date constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
